Business Software that Works

Flex appreciates our suppliers' cooperation in responding to Defective Material Notices (DMN) through our SupplyWeb® portal. Effective September 1, 2008, suppliers must attach a comprehensive corrective action (7d or equivalent) when submitting final corrective action response to a DMN within SupplyWeb. Corrective Action plans are expected to cover; problem description, containment action, root cause (occurrence & escape), corrective action (occurrence & escape), verification, controls & prevention. The available fields may be populated with an overview of containment, root cause & corrective actions, or a reference such as "see attached file" may be entered. Also Flex issues Delivery Performance Reviews (DPR) through the SupplyWeb® portal. Please ensure appropriate Materials contacts have established a SupplyWeb® profile, including email address, and subscribes to all DPR alerts. Suppliers are always required to provide a comprehensive corrective action response within SupplyWeb for any Material Shortage causing line stoppage. A corrective action will be required for other DPR's if the "Yes" box is checked in the "Response Required" field, at the discretion of Flex Materials. Corrective action responses will be managed through this portal.
